Newly Released FBI “Domestic Terrorism” Training on Anarchists, Environmentalists, Show COINTELPRO Tactics

Sistemul s-a obisnuit a-si trata dusmanii (activisti pentru drepturile animalelor, anarhisti, ecologisti) nu doar cu forta excesiva, dar si cu propaganda mincinoasa menita atat sa scada impactul protestelor acestora, cat si credibilitatea protestatarilor, dar nu in ultimul rand aceste masuri sunt menite sa decredibilizeze si sa marginalizeze orice grup sau persoane care ar dori sa practice asta...

In continuare prezentam un articol care ilustreaza acest tip de propaganda (inclusiv in randul oamenilor sistemului, care sunt invatati sa lupte contra unor amenintari inventate si augmentate chiar de sistem, deci... inexistente in realitate...) si modurile in care e rastalmacit adevarul tocmai pentru a deservi scopurilor totalitare ale autoritatilor... Pentru ca sistemul vede orice gen de activitate care presupune dreptul la libera exprimare un stadiu incipient sau avansat al terorismului... Dar fara drept de apel, intotdeauna, terorism... Astfel de etichetare e menita si sa tina deoparte eventualii sustinatori, dar si sa scuze brutalitatea "raspunsurilor" fortelor de ordine (iar realitatile ultimilor ani de proteste ma fac sa cred ca "police brutality" si "excessive authority" nu mai sunt altceva decat pleonasme... Sistemul a dovedit ca singura sa grija e doar a pastra controlul si ordinea in functie de dorintele sale, nu ale oamenilor...). Dar sa citim articolul:

Newly released FBI presentations show the flawed and misleading information the government is using to train agents to identify and investigate “domestic terrorist” groups such as “black separatists,” anarchists, animal rights activists, and environmentalists.

Among the more troubling portions of the training materials are warnings of activists using the Freedom of Information Act, engaging in non-violent civil disobedience, and gathering in coffee shops.

The domestic terrorism training materials were obtained through the Freedom of Information Act by the ACLU. They offer additional insight into a disturbing pattern of FBI activity misrepresenting political activists as “terrorists” and manufacturing “domestic terrorism threats” where none exist, akin to the notorious COINTELPRO program of J. Edgar Hoover.

Activismul online - ce este si cateva sfaturi de eficientizare

Am dat de curand peste cateva articole in internet despre activismul online. Nu ar fi mare descoperire, dar nici ceva de ignorat, de vreme ce in Romania activismul e inteles mai putin ca solidaritate in strada, ci drept o manifestare a convingerilor personale si o aliniere la convingerile altor grupuri cu preponderenta in spatiul virtual. Poate e mai simplu asa, in anonimat, poate e mai sigur de practicat (caci oamenii se simt mai liberi in a-si exprima parerile fara grija bastoanelor jandarmilor). In orice caz, activistii online au motivele lor, insa activism doar in online nu poate fi, practic, o metoda reala de a produce schimbari sociale... Cata vreme actiunile tale din online nu au si o oarecare acoperire in offline, cata vreme convingerile tale se limiteaza numai la a te exterioriza virtual... Nu poti nega ca asta e doar o faza incipienta a ceea ce va deveni activism, sau o faza intermediara, ca fara actiune stradala protestul tau ramane ceva virtual, deci ireal... 

Activismul online trebuie privit ca un mod de a-ti promova actiunile din offline, o metoda de a promova un anume mod de gandire asupra societatii (deci de formare de opinii), o posibilitate de informare a societatii in scopul constientizarii civice, dar in niciun caz ca un scop final, ca o limitare a actiunii in detrimentul celei de strada...

Sunt multe si in diferite trepte de radicalizare aceste manifestari ale activismului, inclusiv cel online. Personal, consider pacifismul lipsit de reactie doar o alta gogorita a sistemului (prin care protestele sunt din start compromise la stadiul de sezatori), caci niciodata sistemul nu va fi macar impresionat de poduri de flori, sau de cantece si dansuri, sau de origami... ci va fi impresionat de mase de oameni care isi cer drepturile, oameni dispusi la orice sacrificiu pentru libertatea lor. Bineinteles, protestele pasnice au si ele rolul lor, asemanator activismului in online: de promovare a unor idei, de enuntare a unor probleme. 

Sunt multe si diferite si parerile activistilor despre aceasta, dar vom prezenta numai doua articole mai jos (care speram ca vor reliefa cel putin unele din punctele generale), cu comentariile de rigoare si sfaturi pentru eficientizarea activismului in online...

Activists live tempestous times and the authorities seem more afraid than ever before that people will finally rise to put an end to their abuse. Therefor, using smear campaigns, entrapment and undercover agents and informants, they seem to think that the activism would suffer that bad, that the people doing it would somehow lose their beliefs and stop protesting...
As you can easily imagine, this use of filthy tactics would only encourage people more... Here are some testemonials, informant profiles and articles that might help you spot and get rid of the snitches and informants away from your activist path:

That the police have paranoia inducing methods of infiltrating activist organizations and inciting people to commit illegal activities should come as no surprise. Spying and creeping and slinking around in the shadows are simply par for the course when you're engaged reprehensible activities. Unfortunately, surveillance, or the threat of surveillance, is one unavoidable aspect of living in a police state, and since the advent of Homeland Security, many of us take it for granted that our phone conversations and electronic communications could be intercepted and monitored at any time. It's somewhat more disconcerting however to consider the following: we're sitting in a meeting planning our next political action with people we know and trust, and meanwhile, right next to us or across from us could be an agent or informant, someone contemplating how to undermine, negate, and frustrate our efforts to save the world and society from slipping into the abyss. 

To further complicate matters, an agent of the security state could be anyone, not necessarily a police officer or an employee of a security agency. They could be your friend, your mom, your dad, your lover, your sister, your brother, your teacher, your cleaning lady, the mailman – anyone. This is an extremely uncomfortable fact, but it's one we need to process, grapple with, and accept before we can move forward with our activism with eyes wide open. How many people have been coerced into becoming informants or agents simply out of fear of some embarrassing information about their past possibly coming to light if they didn't cooperate with the police? This is no excuse for betraying others, and it's definitely not an excuse for helping the authorities to suppress movements that may be our last chance at preserving our freedoms and saving the world from ecological and other disasters...however, it's important to recognize the motivations that some may have for becoming stool pigeons and provocateurs. Hopefully these misguided people can be somehow convinced to stop stabbing the rest of us in the back, but more on that later.

Cum depistezi agentii provocatori sub acoperire

Activismul este la noi mai mult un element de noutate si pentru multi mai curand o "ocupatie" de weekend. Cu toate acestea, fortele de ordine iau foarte in serios aceasta problema, recurgand la tactici din ce in ce mai diversificate si mai complicate pentru a infiltra si denatura scopurile activismului. Asa ca obisnuitele atacuri asupra activistilor au in spate un intreg apanaj de metode, care de care mai subtile in plan social, una dintre acestea (si probabil cea mai folosita) fiind a agentilor sub acoperire. Cu cat scena activismului este mai mare sau mai ales cu cat activismul e mai radical, cu atat mai mare e si numarul persoanelor ce incearca sa se infiltreze cu scopul informarii si / sau al dezmembrarii relatiilor de solidaritate dintre si in cadrul acelor grupuri.

Mai jos veti putea citi un articol despre unele metode de depistare a agentilor provocatori sub acoperire, scris de persoane cu experienta vasta in a se confrunta cu asa ceva. Bineinteles, tacticile si tehnicile sunt mult mai multe si mai complexe si difera de la o situatie la alta, de la o persoana la alta:
